I cannot beleive the weather we're having right now! Usually, in Winnipeg, November is the start of the 4 coldest months (getting down to -40c some days!), but for some odd reason, Mother Nature is pulling a prank on us and giving us some beautiful 11c temperatures! I bet in a week, we're gonna be down about 20 degrees.

I'm not complaining either, this weather is great compared to last year, but I just recently purchased a beautiful $560 winter coat and I'm impatiently waiting to wear it! It's perfect. A beautiful cocoa brown, nice and fitted so I don't look like a square, and it's incredibly warm! So just for fun, on a nice, brisk night, my boyfriend and I played around in my backyard, pretending the weather was suitable for my new coat.

I haven't done a good outfit post in awhile, so here we go!





Nothing to crazy, just an outfit I wore to work, then to go out to a movie with friends.

Sorry for the overdue update, I had my computer crash on me the other day, so I reformatted it myself (hurrah!) and then realized I have no idea how to hook the internet back up. So $40 later, a man came over for 15 minutes and fixed it, so I'm back online!

comic-con.

On Sunday, as friends were nursing hangovers and passed out from the night before, I took a trip downtown with the boyfriend to Comic-Con. It started off as a treat for my geeky boyfriend, lover of all things DC and Marvel (except Aquaman. Not even Aquaman likes Aquaman.), and turned out to be an AMAZING day!

I mean, where else would we have had to pay $10 to get a picture taken with some Ewoks?!

Not only that, but the guest of honor this year was Adam West! Of course, it was $40 to get an autograph, not worth it in my opinion. But hearing him speak was hilarity in itself!

I'm definitely going again next year, dressed up this time since everyone is insanely creative there and the costumes were superb! Wonder Woman anyone?

happy belated halloween!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! This year was a bit hectic so I wasn't able to find a nice costume. So, I took a bedsheet, randomly wrapped it around myself and went out dressed in a toga. That's the only picture I have of myself in it!

Also, the party I went to was on friday night. For the actual Halloween night, I sat at home with my boyfriend, eating candy and watching the first season of Buffy! Nothing better!

Oh, how I love the magazine Lula. It's one of my favorites, and so very hard to find. Unless I want to buy the new issue off ebay, which I am by the way! 5 more days and hopefully it'll be mine! By the way, Karen Elson really makes me want to dye my hair red.

FEELING SORRY.

SORRY EVERYONE. I'M NOT DEAD. I've just been a horrible, horrible blogger.
Lately, I just haven't had the motivation or encouragement to blog. I'm working constantly (even though it's only part time, i get maybe 2 days off a week), the weather's been colder then normal and I have no money, so that means no new fall clothes. Which, I guess is a good thing, you know, working with what I have. Even though my closets full, I always feel like I have nothing to wear (but I'm sure that's not just me.)

But what have I been doing with my time? Not much actually. I had my combined birthday party a couple weekends ago which was a blast, I'm still working at Candie and Dolls and I'm going to Hawaii on December 6th too!

I also got a new camera for my birthday! I'm still learning how to use it, but here's some pictures I've taken so far:
